Prevost, Stuart Island

After waking up early this morning, I could tell it was going to be a hot one.

And I was right!

After working on my social media for about an hour, captain Jeff started the engines, and we were off. Off to Stuart Island that is.

Once at Stuart, we had two options:
Reid harbor (no cell service) or Prevost (marginal service).
Needless to say which one I picked.

We settled in Prevost so I won’t lose my mind.

I feel bad about the fact that I couldn’t do a week without my phone or computer. I might have to work on that.

Stuart island has a great hike up to the lighthouse where if you’re lucky you get to see whales.

On the way you’ll pass the old school house which is also definitely worth a visit. You can buy t-shirts at a stand on the way and leave money in the box.

We will be hanging out here for a few days. Eventhough I can’t hike with my sprained ankle I’m hoping to get in a kayak ride or 2.

Till next time.
