Styling a Basic Blazer

As long as I can remember, I have been a big fan of a classic blazer.

Whether it is fitted or oversized, I love them all!

I just can't get over how good Brigitte Macron looks in her Balmain blazers, to me that is perfection.

Needless to say, I own an extensive collection in all different colours, fabrics, styles and fits.

If a blazer fits me well I am very hard pressed to get rid of it, so some of mine have been in my closet for over 30 years.

I am also having a very hard time passing one up when I see one on my shopping excursions.

When shopping for a blazer, you really don't have to spend a fortune, the very very most important thing is the fit.

Even if you pay a lot of money, if the fit isn't perfect, it just will not look good.

If a blazer fits perfectly it will look like you spend more than you actually did.

A perfect fitting Chicos blazer will look way more expensive than an ill fitting high end brand.

Every wardrobe should have at least one classic navy blazer.

This looks good with jeans, white or tan pants or a pair of matching navy pants.

You can really dress this up or down depending on the occasion.

I would also add a black blazer since this can really be dressed up for a night out on the town.

It can basically take you from a breakfast meeting in the morning to a party with friends at night.

After you have acquired the basics you can go out and look for different colours for the different seasons.

This is where I have a huge problem. I love them all!!!

I have linked some of my favourites here

Let me know how it goes, or if you have any questions.

Happy blazer shopping!

Love,
Renate
