Blue Monday
How is everyone doing on this supposedly most depressing day of the year?
Since I was so busy putting away the Christmas decorations these past few days (I always dread that task , and yes, I know it's late) this day has really snuck up on me. (Is that even a word?).
My husband and son went to see Jim Gaffigan last night and I thought it would be a good idea to do some shopping and returns at our local Winners store.
My back has been bothering me for the past week or so, I went to see my chiropractor and it seemed a bit better so I thought, what the heck, I'll be fine.
And I was, for the most part.
I did my returns, looked around a bit, bought a new mat for the front door (since I seem to be taking a lot of pictures there) and made my way to the exit.
On my way out I spotted these super cute night tables that would look so good in one of my guest rooms.
They didn't seem too heavy so I got a cart loaded them up, paid and went to the car.
At this point, my back is hurting a little more but still not too bad.
I got in the car, treated myself to a foot long subway sandwich along the way (what can I say, I like to eat) and went home.
I knew it was a mistake but I didn't listen to my body so I loaded the tables into the house at which point my back gave out.
Anyway to make a long story short, the doormat and the tables look great.
I linked some for you here.
My back is really hurting a lot, so I will be pretty useless for the foreseeable future.
Better call for a massage.
So my Blue Monday did not start off too well lol!
Just think, from here on it's only getting better and spring is right around the corner.
I think I might put together a few spring outfits, just for fun.
Have a wonderful Monday!
Love,
Renate
