Are My Gucci Shoes Worth the Money?

Since I was a little girl I have always been a serious shoe addict.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that we lived across from a shoe store when I was little and my earliest memories are looking at a shoe store window.

I can still remember standing in front of that display window and dreaming about how I would look in those super cute brown block heel shoes with the criss cross bands.

I ended up getting those shoes for my birthday and I put them next to my bed so I could look at them at night.

To this day I love the smell of a new pair of shoes. I love it when they are still in the box with the tissue paper all intact.

When I was in high school I got a job at a local shoe store chain. I don’t think I ever saw any actual money.

I was paid in shoes and that was fine by me.

So I am someone who likes nice shoes. I don’t think I have ever bought a cheap pair of shoes.

Inexpensive on sale maybe but not sub par quality.

I am very lucky to have very easy to fit feet so it’s fun for me to shop for shoes.

So that brings me to the black Gucci Marmont shoes.

When I saw those for the first time I got that same feeling I had as a little girl looking at the brown block heel shoes.

I could imagine wearing them with so many different outfits, the heels are not too high so they would be comfortable to walk in, unlike some of the high heeled “car to bar” shoes I still own from when I was still working.

But a little pricey for sure.

I ended up biting the bullet and buying them.

They are everything I thought the would be. They look cute, beautiful quality and they make me feel like a million bucks when wearing them.

They are a classic so will never go out of style.

So, yes, for me they are definitely worth it.

Having said that there are lots of very good quality similar style shoes.
