I Love a Moto Jacket (but am I too old?)

Ever since I was in my 20’s I have loved the look of a good motorcycle jacket.
I love how it makes any outfit a bit “edgy”.
Like when you wear a pretty frilly dress, the jacket will give it a modern touch.

When my Son decided to get married during the pandemic in 2020, they had planned a much bigger wedding but didn’t want to wait any longer.
My Daughter-in-law had picked her wedding dress literally the last day the stores and restaurants were open in Vancouver.

At this point we had no idea of what was to come.

It didn’t look like there was going to be a “Joshua Tree” wedding anytime soon so they went ahead with an impromptu (2 weeks notice) wedding at a trendy restaurant in the city.

Since the wedding was now going to be a lot smaller (20 guests) my daughter in law decided not to spend thousands of dollars on her dream dress but instead opted for a simple white midi dress (which looked beautiful).

Because they got married in October and it was chilly out, she wore her leather Moto jacket instead of something white for the pictures outside.

She looked gorgeous.

I would have loved to have looked this cool on my wedding day (on which I looked like a disaster but that’s a whole other story).
I went out after the wedding and bought myself a “good” leather moto jacket.
I must admit, I feel pretty darn good when wearing it, I would say I feel almost cool lol.

But I am curious, what do you think? Yes or no to Moto?

I personally think you can wear it at any age, but am I kidding myself?
