Your fondest memories on a custom silk scarf.

Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love silk scarves. I always have. I accumulated a very extensive collection over the years and would be very hard pressed to let go of any of them. My obsession started in high school and is still going strong. I really have lost count.

Recently I discovered a company named Sitorie who designs high quality silk scarves (with hand rolled edges) with your fondest memories or objects printed on them. They are very helpful and accommodating when designing a scarf that has true meaning for you.

For my scarf I had to think a minute as to what I would like it to say. At the time we had just arrived home from a trip to Malta where we met 40 years ago while we were both working there. My husband flew for Air Malta at that time and I have very fond memories of this time in my life. I decided I wanted the scarf to remind me of that. Eventhough the image is not an exact reflection of Malta, it brings me back to a time when were living there and were young and carefree.
